Organic Green Blend- The green blend used in the ALL ONE Green Phyto Base is a comprehensive blend including alfalfa, kamut, barley and oat grasses; cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, parsley, kale, and broccoli; kelp and spirulina. These greens are certified organic, cultivated according to strict QAI or USDA standards. The Greens are grown on a specially selected, dried, ancient volcanic lake bed in Utah at 6000 feet elevation. The fact that the cropland is over 100 miles from any pollution industry means the air quality surrounding the farm is among the purest in North America. The high altitude brings the chlorophyll rich leaves closer to the sun and as a result the plant must produce more chlorophyll. The greens are flash dried minutes from harvest; they are washed, juiced and then dried. The powder is never in temperatures above 88 degrees. The high chlorophyll content, lightweight proteins, catalytic enzymes and trace minerals promote absorption of the high potency vitamins and minerals in ALL ONE. Each 2-gram dose of green powder contains approximately 60 mg of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been regarded as the single most versatile cleansing, healing and detoxifying substance known to man, offering protection from toxic chemicals.

The green powder is gluten free, as gluten is present only after the grain sprouts. Our greens are harvested while they are still a grass.

ANTIOXIDANT FRUIT BLEND
The fruits in the ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant blend are chosen for the significant amount of research supporting their high antioxidant (ORAC- Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) values. Tufts scientists measured the antioxidant levels of 50 fresh fruits and vegetables, and found berries occupied the top slots.

Tart Cherries- Recent medical research validates that tart cherries provide highly effective pain relief and a multiplicity of other health benefits. In 1998, scientists at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, discovered that tart cherries are an excellent source of compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The antioxidant compound anthocyanin found in tart cherries in particular may have a beneficial effect on inflammation.

Cranberries- The cranberry is most well known for its role in combating urinary tract infections. At the meeting of the American Chemical Society in April 2002 several studies were presented that demonstrated that the antioxidant benefits of the cranberry does not end with UTIs (urinary tract infections). Emerging as one of the most powerful among common fruits studied, cranberries appear to possess anti-cancer properties, inhibit the growth of common food borne pathogens and contain antibacterial properties.

Blueberries- USDA researcher Ronald Prior, Ph.D, has determined that blueberries have the highest antioxidant capacity of 40 tested fruits and vegetables. Recent laboratory studies suggest blueberries may delay the onset of age-related memory loss. James Joseph, Ph.D, Chief of the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, is working with blueberries to examine their potential to help improve motor skills and reverse the short-term memory loss that comes with aging. Wild Blueberries also showed the greatest anti-cancer activity of fruits tested during a University of Illinois study by Mary Ann Lila Smith, Ph.D.

Apple pectin- an indigestible soluble fiber, which is effective in lowering cholesterol levels. Researchers at the University of California, Davis, found that apple pectin also acts as an antioxidant against the damaging portion of cholesterol in the blood stream.

The ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant blend is guaranteed pesticide free. The cranberries and apple fibers are freeze dried to a powder and then sifted and blended with the wild blueberries and tart cherries, which are washed and vacuum dehydrated at 88 degrees. There is no added sugar in the fruit blend. The berries are bitter and sour, not sweet and with the apple we use only the apple fiber. The sugar is insignificant and below the glycemic index. Aktivated barley is made by using a unique combination of pressure and humidity to activate nutrients and formerly dormant enzymes in the inner kernel of the barley grains.
