What Is The Shelf Life of ALL ONE?

Rachel Asks

How long will the ALL ONE Multiple Vitamins & Minerals Original Formula last after opening? Because it’s a powder, it doesn’t seem like it would go “bad”, but I’m wondering if the vitamins would lose their potency over time.

The Vitamin Professor Responds

Dear Rachel,

Thanks for your interest in ALL ONE.

Actually the powder form of supplements is very stable. Because it is never exposed to moisture during the processing like tablets are (a process called wet granulation) there is no need for coating agents. Also, because it is a dry powder (until you mix it with your favorite juice just before consuming it) it does not need preservatives (like Sodium benzoate) found in all pre-made liquids.

ALL ONE has a “shelf life” of 3 years from the date of production if the container is kept unopened.

After you open the container keep in mind that the things that degrade nutrients are moisture, light and heat. So always replace the over-lid after each opening and store it in a cool dark place. Cool, like a pantry, not cold like a refrigerator. Storing it in a refrigerator can create condensation and the collection of moisture in the can.

The largest container we have is a 66 day size. Once opened if stored properly this very stable powder will be fine for at least a year. Most likely the product will be consumed way before that amount of time.

I hope this answers your question.

All the best,

This is not Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, but believe it or not in this case please. I purchased my last can of All One about two years ago at Sunharvest. I tried shaking it with juice for consumption but never did get it right. It would not break down enough for me. I got side tracked and left it in the refrigerator with the top missing. I looked at it everyday thinking someday I’m going to get a blender and start again. Maybe about a year ago I decided to put a clear plastic food container bag over it and moved it further back on the shelf. Recently (January 2011) because my memory recall was getting shipwrecked I purchased a Bullit blender and got out the old All One can and started making the drink again. It has been perfect! It is still in tact! And it works! When I bought that first All One Original Formula I noticed that my recall memory went way sharper. I tried some of the ingredients from the All One separately but could never make that memory click on again. My memory is now back and I feel more like a whole person again, I didn’t realize how bad I felt and emotionally it was affecting me until my memory started coming back again. It is unblieveable how well this formula works! I am more alert and have more energy in less that a week on the product and I’m lining up to buy more All One right now. Also,my brother is interested in coming on board. We are both in our sixties.

I can’t thank you enough for creating this fine health product.

    God bless,

      Hey Jim,
Thanks for the great “believe it or not” story!
One of the things that keeps ALL ONE stable, after so long, is the protein base. This nutrient dense (amino acid rich) material holds and isolates the vitamins and mineral keeping them dry and maintaining their integrity. I’m glad you had a good experience this time. However, in the future, it is “best” to store ALL ONE, resealed, in a cool dark place like a kitchen pantry. Storing it in the refrigerator can cause condensation (collection of moisture) which over time will compromise certain vitamins and minerals. However, looks like it worked out for you this time. Welcome back to ALL ONE to you AND your brother.
      All the best,
