Today is the first day of spring. The weather is becoming warmer and plants are reviving. The budding trees and blooming flowers associated with the early return of spring mark an increase in itchy, watery eyes, sneezing and other symptoms of seasonal allergies. Warm, wet winters normally signal a bad allergy season in the spring so be prepared for a beautiful spring with plenty of airborne pollen to breathe.

For millions of people this means that their seasonal allergies are in full swing. Allergies arise from an immune system response to substances in the environment. It is not the foreign substance or organism itself that causes your allergy symptoms; it is your body’s reaction to them and the chemicals it then releases to protect itself.

The annual bout with tree and grass pollens can begin as early as late February and last through the beginning of the summer. While many consider allergies to be just a nuisance, in severe cases the symptoms can mimic a bad flu – that persists for months. Seasonal allergies often trigger asthma attacks due to the build up of irritating pollen and fluid in the lungs.

What can you do to avoid suffering from seasonal allergies? The only way to completely avoid pollen is to move to somewhere that has no grass, trees or weeds – or lock yourself in a sealed, air-conditioned room until the pollen is gone. Fortunately, there are less drastic steps you can take to make yourself more comfortable.

Tips For Seasonal Allergy Relief

The following tips can help allergy sufferers find some relief during your peak allergy season:

Do a thorough spring cleaning – windows, book shelves and air conditioning vents collect dust and mold throughout the winter that can provoke allergy symptoms.

Minimize outdoor activity when pollen counts are high. Peak pollen times are usually between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you live in the USA, you can get up-to-date pollen information for your area from the National Allergy Bureau at www.aaaai.org/nab.

Shut windows in your house on days pollen counts are high. Avoid using windows or fans that may draw pollen inside.

Wash bedding weekly in hot water.

Dry laundry indoors. Sheets hanging on an outside line are an easy target for blowing pollen.

Shower and wash your hair before bed – pollen can collect on your hair and skin.

Keep pets off of furniture and out of the bedroom. Pollen can cling to the dog or cat after being outside.

Keep car windows closed during peak season. Use air conditioning and point vents away from face.

When mowing lawn or gardening, wear a filter mask.

Keep your immune system healthy by eating well, getting plenty of sleep and drink lots of water. Adding a good multi-vitamin may also help you maintain a stronger immune system.

If your symptoms are severe and last for a long time, you may want to consult your doctor about medications that can help ease your symptoms.

There has been a dramatic increase in weight problems and obesity seen around the world over the past 25 years. It is resulting in a very disturbing rise in diabetes, cardiovascular disease, joint deterioration and many other serious health problems.

Science now tells us that one of the biggest health risks is found in the connection between obesity and insulin resistance, a state in which insulin receptors no longer work efficiently. The body compensates for this by producing higher than normal amounts of insulin. In the early stages this can often cause excess weight gain, usually showing up around the middle of the body. Eventually the pancreas (the organ that produces insulin) can become over worked and is unable to produce adequate insulin, this is characteristic of the advanced stages of Type 2 diabetes.

The weight gain associated with insulin resistance is a big part of the equation. The elevated blood sugar (from mild elevations to serious diabetes), cause hypoglycemic food cravings (sugary foods and other foods with a high glycemic index – see definition below) and excessive appetite all contribute to the weight gain. The additional weight in turn makes the insulin resistance worse. If this negative feedback loop is not addressed over the years, the high blood glucose can also lead to increased blood pressure, damage to the heart and blood vessels, inflammation and many other abnormalities.

The Connection Between Obesity and Insulin Resistance

Research has shown that losing weight can play an important role in preventing and sometimes even correcting insulin resistance. The challenge is however to lose weight without making the condition worse. Extreme caloric restriction with inadequate nutrition can sometimes be the very cause of insulin resistance in the first place. Ideally, the weight loss needs to be addressed in a way that the blood sugar metabolism is supported, keeping blood sugar levels steady. Fad diets, poor eating habits, high glycemic index (see definition below) foods and genetics each contribute to rapid rises and sharp declines in blood glucose levels, which can lead to a repetitive cycle of:

Uncontrollable, frequent hunger

Excessive cravings, especially for carbohydrates

Increased conversion of blood glucose into stored fat

Tiredness, low energy and irritability

The ‘ALL ONE’ Weight Loss Formula proprietary blend of nutrients includes low glycemic index, high fiber Aktivated Barley™; and New Zealand whey protein provide a quality base for sustainable energy, avoiding the energy highs and lows often associated with dieting. The benefits of including a high quality, nutrient dense supplement such as ‘ALL ONE’ Weight Loss as part of your weight management ultimately results in more sensible eating, less fat storage, more energy and better success achieving and maintaining optimal body weight.

When taken in conjunction with ‘ALL ONE’ multi-vitamin and mineral formulas, the body is sure to receive optimum nutrition even while reducing caloric intake. Putting an end to the stress, moodiness, depression, low energy and “foggy brain” often associated with dieting.

What is the Glycemic Index?

The glycemic index, or glycemic index, (GI) provides a measure of how quickly blood surar levels (i.e. levels of glucose in the blood) rise after eating a particular type of food. The effects that different foods have on blood sugar levels vary considerably. The glycemic index estimates how much each gram of available carbohydrate (total carbohydrate minus fiber) in a food raises a person’s blood glucose level following consumption of the food, relative to consumption of pure glucose. Glucose has a glycemic index of 100.

Foods with carbohydrates that break down quickly during digestion and release glucose rapidly into the bloodstream tend to have a high GI; foods with carbohydrates that break down more slowly, releasing glucose more gradually into the bloodstream, tend to have a low GI. The concept was developed by Dr. David Jenkins and colleagues in 1980-1981 at the University of Toronto in their research to find out which foods were best for people with diabetes. A lower glycemic index suggests slower rates of digestion and absorption of the foods’ carbohydrates and may also indicate greater extraction from the liver and periphery of the products of carbohydrate digestion. A lower glycemic response usually equates to a lower insulin demand but not always, and may improve long-term blood glucose control and blood lipids.

Including a high quality, nutrient dense, low glycemic index supplement such as ‘ALL ONE’ Weight Loss as part of your weight management program can help address the modern health issues of obesity and insulin resistance.

What is someone told you there was a free, easy and relaxing way to increase your energy and self esteem as well as elevate your mood? Would you want it? Well, there is, and it’s simpler than you might think. Walking as little as 30 minutes, 3 times a week can accomplish all of these things and more. Numerous studies have shown that the benefits of walking include increased energy, better moods, health and nutrition and increased self-esteem. In fact, Dr. James Blumenthal, Ph.D of Duke University, says that ‘walking can be just as effective in relieving symptoms of depression as standard treatments of anti-depressant drugs.’

Despite these known benefits, many people have trouble finding the time and/or motivation to start a walking program. Here are some tips to make your new program an easy reality:

Start Slow. Even if you can only walk a few minutes at a time before you need to rest remember that it’s not were you start from but where you are going that’s important. Make sure to do some stretching beforehand and start your program gradually.

Make it a routine. Research shows that it takes 21 days to establish a habit. The first 3 weeks are very important. Work walking into your schedule and stick with it!

Make it easy enough to maintain. Some people’s reluctance to start an exercise program stems from previous attempts where they started and failed to continue. This is usually due to high expectations and energy in the beginning of the program, followed by a burnout period. Start with simple, easily reachable and sustainable goals so you can keep the habit in the years to come.

Incorporate walking into your daily schedule. You don’t always have to walk specifically for exercise. Kill two birds with one stone by walking to the post office or grocery store for example. Give your kids some exercise as well by walking to school to pick them up. If you take public transportation to work, get off on stop earlier and walk the rest of the way and make an effort to take the stairs instead of the elevator.

Use walking as a way to meet with people. Instead of meeting at a coffee shop or lunch, ask your friend to go on a walk with you. You can enjoy each other’s company and with no guilt about calories.

If walking is already part of your daily routine and you want to spice things up a bit try mixing it up a bit by increasing your pace at intervals throughout you walk or add some inclines to it. Or, if you want to see some new scenery, look up local hikes for your area and walk new paths.

Consistently doing things to improve our health such as walking or taking a vitamin-mineral supplement such as ‘ALL ONE’ is sometimes hard to stick to. But if you have the dedication to make it a habit, and work to integrate your healthy choices into your normal schedule, you will enjoy the many benefits of walking and an overall healthier, happier you.

Any good cook will tell you that the key to a great meal is first choosing the best quality ingredients and then blending and cooking these ingredients just right in order to achieve the flavor and textures the meal requires. This is even truer when creating a superior supplement. The quality of the source ingredients is the cornerstone to a high quality supplement, how these ingredients are blended together and delivered will ultimately influence just how effective the supplement is.

With this in mind lets take a look at some of the source materials that are used in all One supplements. And why these ingredients play a key role in making ALL ONE supplements the superior products that they are.

Whole Food Proteins – A source of naturally occurring essential and non-essential amino acids. ALL ONE milk proteins (Calcium Caseinate and Whey) are from New Zealand. New Zealand dairies are held to some of the most stringent standards in the world. The dairy cows of New Zealand are grass fed and free grazed and never exposed to “feed lot” conditions. New Zealand mandates that all dairy products must be free of antibiotics, chemical residues and hormones (rbST is illegal in New Zealand). Poland and New Zealand are the only two countries that supply guaranteed rbST-free isolated protein. The New Zealand Calcium Caseinate (milk protein) is 93% protein, lactose and fat free.

The New Zealand Whey Protein is instantized milk protein from fresh food grade whey by ultra-filtration. ALL ONE chooses the whey protein for its Active Seniors formula and the Weight Loss formula because it is a naturally complete protein; it contains all of the essential amino acids required in the daily diet. It also contains the highest known levels of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) in a natural food source. Whey protein provides the body with BCAAs to replenish depleted levels and start repairing and rebuilding lean muscle tissue. Whey protein isolate has approximately 50% more leucine than soy protein isolate. Leucine is important as it plays a key role in promoting muscle protein synthesis and muscle growth. Whey protein is easy to digest and absorb, often people who cannot digest casein can digest whey. Whey protein helps maintain a healthy immune system by increasing the levels of glutathione in the body. Glutathione is an antioxidant required for a healthy immune system.

ALL ONE rice protein, found in the 3 vegan formulas, is made by filtering protein and fiber from whole white rice digested enzymatically to produce rice syrup. No acids, bases or other chemicals are used in this process. Residual carbohydrates have been washed away from the proteins. The rice is California grown and is pesticide free. ALL ONE rice protein is vegan and gluten free.

Whole Food Powders in ALL ONE Supplements

ALL ONE worked with the greens expert David Sandoval for the whole food powders added to the all One formulas. David’s international reputation for quality and zeal for purity ensures powder blends of the highest quality.

Organic Green Blend
The green blend used in the ALL ONE Green Phyto Base is a comprehensive blend including alfalfa, kamut, barley and oat grasses; cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, parsley, kale, and broccoli; kelp and spirulina. These greens are certified organic, cultivated according to strict QAI or USDA standards. The Greens are grown on a specially selected, dried, ancient volcanic lake bed in Utah at 6000 feet elevation. The fact that the cropland is over 100 miles from any pollution industry means the air quality surrounding the farm is among the purest in North America. The high altitude brings the chlorophyll rich leaves closer to the sun and as a result the plant must produce more chlorophyll. The greens are flash dried minutes from harvest; they are washed, juiced and then dried. The powder is never in temperatures above 88 degrees. The high chlorophyll content, lightweight proteins, catalytic enzymes and trace minerals promote absorption of the high potency vitamins and minerals in all One. Each 2-gram dose of green powder contains approximately 60 mg of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been regarded as the single most versatile cleansing, healing and detoxifying substance known to man, offering protection from toxic chemicals. The green powder is gluten free, as gluten is present only after the grain sprouts. Our greens are harvested while they are still a grass.

Fruit Blend
The fruits in the ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant blend are chosen for the significant amount of research supporting their high antioxidant (ORAC- Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) values. Tufts scientists measured the antioxidant levels of 50 fresh fruits and vegetables, and found berries occupied the top slots.

Tart Cherries- Recent medical research validates that tart cherries provide highly effective pain relief and a multiplicity of other health benefits. In 1998, scientists at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, discovered that tart cherries are an excellent source of compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The antioxidant compound anthocyanin found in tart cherries in particular may have a beneficial effect on inflammation.

Cranberries – The cranberry is most well known for its role in combating urinary tract infections. At the meeting of the American Chemical Society in April 2002 several studies were presented that demonstrated that the antioxidant benefits of the cranberry does not end with UTIs (urinary tract infections). Emerging as one of the most powerful among common fruits studied, cranberries appear to possess anti-cancer properties, inhibit the growth of common food borne pathogens and contain antibacterial properties.

Blueberries- USDA researcher Ronald Prior, Ph.D, has determined that blueberries have the highest antioxidant capacity of 40 tested fruits and vegetables. Recent laboratory studies suggest blueberries may delay the onset of age-related memory loss. James Joseph, Ph.D, Chief of the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, is working with blueberries to examine their potential to help improve motor skills and reverse the short-term memory loss that comes with aging. Wild Blueberries also showed the greatest anti-cancer activity of fruits tested during a University of Illinois study by Mary Ann Lila Smith, Ph.D.

Apple pectin- an indigestible soluble fiber, which is effective in lowering cholesterol levels. Researchers at the University of California, Davis, found that apple pectin also acts as an antioxidant against the damaging portion of cholesterol in the blood stream.

The ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant blend is guaranteed pesticide free. The cranberries and apple fibers are freeze dried to a powder and then sifted and blended with the wild blueberries and tart cherries, which are washed and vacuum dehydrated at 88 degrees. There is no added sugar in the fruit blend. The berries are bitter and sour, not sweet and with the apple we use only the apple fiber. The sugar is insignificant and below the glycemic index. ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant formula is very safe for diabetics.

Aktivated Barley™
Barley is the only plant on earth that can, without supplementation, provide nutritional support from birth to old age. “Pre-sprouted” or “activated” barley is super food. All of the energy in the seed has been mobilized to sprout, but sprouting hasn’t taken place yet. At this point, the barley is at its most bioactive. The Aktivated Barley used by all One comes from pure, raw, whole barley- no pesticides, herbicides and is non-GMO’s. Aktivated barley is made by using a unique combination of pressure and humidity to activate nutrients and formerly dormant enzymes in the inner kernel of the barley grains. It is then immediately vacuum dehydrated.

ALL ONE Minerals
All minerals in ALL ONE are proteinated. The minerals are from plant, vegetable or earth sources combined with protein, “chelated”. All the amino acids in all One formulas are naturally occurring derived from whole proteins.

No Compromise!
As the quality of source materials is vital to the efficacy of the all One formulas. all One also takes pride in what they DO NOT put in their formulas. Binders and fillers and bulking agents that may reduce price, as they are inexpensive but ultimately compromise the integrity of the formulas. Purity and potency are never compromised. all One Formulas do not contain any non-nutritive additives such as binders, fillers, preservatives, disintegrates or moisture protectors. You will also never find sweeteners, yeast or artificial flavors in an ALL ONE formula.

ALL ONE Formulas have always been made using the highest quality raw materials available and using only USP grade nutrients.

As a company ALL ONE has built their reputation on excellence and have never resorted to using cheap ingredients. ALL ONE supplements are built up to a standard, not down to a price. This you can count on.

Before you send your children out the door and off to school there may be something they’re missing-and it’s not their backpacks or lunches. Today many families find the morning to be too hectic and then often skip breakfast. “Numerous studies suggest that schoolchildren skip breakfast more than any other meal of the day,” says Melissa Joy Dobbins, MS, RD, a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, “That means some kids go as long as 15 hours-or more-without food.” That doesn’t just leave their stomachs growling, it also impacts their ability to learn.

A nutritious breakfast for children helps them to focus and concentrate better in the classroom and perform better on math, reading and standardized tests. They also have fewer behavior problems and are less likely to be tardy. Conversely, the Academy’s The State of Family Nutrition and Physical Activity Report: Are We Making Progress? finds that even a child who is well nourished but skips breakfast can have problem-solving difficulties that are serious enough to lower their test taking ability.

Here are a few tips to ensure a nutritious breakfast for you and your children:

Be a good role model: “Children mimic their parent’s behavior,” says Dobbins. “So make it a habit to sit down and eat breakfast with your children every morning.”

Minimize late night snacking: Many children aren’t hungry for breakfast because they snack at night. Try telling your children the kitchen is closed after dinner and you’ll be surprised how much hungrier they are in the morning.

Prep the night before: Getting breakfast on the table is tricky for most busy families. Setting the breakfast table at night can make your morning a little smoother. While you’re at it, why not put out a few boxes of whole-grain cereal for children to pick and choose from? All they’ll have to do in the morning is pour and add milk.

Start small: If your family doesn’t usually eat anything in the morning, it may take a while to develop the habit. Starting with a mini meal of yogurt topped with low-fat granola or a small slice of whole-wheat toast can make the transition easier.

Set the alarm 10 minutes earlier: Hectic mornings can make it difficult for children (and parents) to find time for breakfast. Waking up just a few minutes earlier provides time to squeeze in a quick morning meal.

Dress first, eat second: Children are more likely to feel hungry once they’ve had a chance to wake up.

Make sure you’re well stocked: No time to cook? No problem. Quick-fix foods like whole-grain cereal, string cheese, berries, yogurt, and whole-wheat toast, mini bagels and English muffins make grabbing breakfast a cinch.

In addition to eating breakfast everyday, taking a good supplement ensures that all of the trace minerals and vitamins needed for good health and mental alertness are part of your families daily intake. ‘ALL ONE’ has several comprehensive formulas that will provide those needed vitamins and minerals. All formulas are free from additives, preservatives, coloring agents, yeast and gluten.

By serving a nutritious breakfast for your children, you are bound to notice a positive difference in the way you and your family feels.

Here are just a few of the current statements regarding the powerful health benefits of berries, and especially tart cherries, wild blueberries, and cranberries.

“There’s growing evidence that diseases of aging- including heart disease, diabetes and many forms of cancer, such as breast and prostate cancer- result from damage to DNA, which in the laboratory can be prevented by substances found in fruits and vegetables.”
- D. Heber, M.D., Ph. D, director of the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition and coauthor of What Color is Your Diet?

” The secret is in the pigments that give cherries their rich red hue. They belong to a class of natural dyes called anthocyanins…. According to Dr. Muraleedharan Nair at Michigan State University, lab tests show that the anthocyanins in red tart cherries give 10 times the anti-inflammatory relief of aspirin, without irritating the stomach.”
- Newsweek 2007

“If these findings (Tufts University) are borne out in further research, young and middle-aged people may be able to reduce risk of diseases of aging- including senility- simply by adding high -ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity measures various foods’ total antioxidant power) foods to their diets.”
- F.P.Horn, administrator of the Agricultural Research Services Human Nutrition Research Center at Tufts University.

” It’s the combined effects of the compounds in a berry that do the work. They act through different mechanisms simultaneously, and that’s what makes them so powerful.”

- Mary Ann Lila, a professor of plant sciences at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Are you enjoying the health benefits of berries?

Maybe during the summer months you can work berries in as part of your regular fruit intake. The berries that have shown to have the most power to their punch are tart cherries, wild blueberries and cranberries. These close cousins to the sweeter varieties we buy while on summer holidays are bitter and tart. So how does one add these amazing fruits into ones diet all year round while including the most potent varieties?

It is important to first say that having a daily dose of berries of all shapes and colors is a sure step towards better health. It seems that scientists continue to be amazed by the health benefits these tasty little gems can offer. So when possible opt for the berries, whether fresh or frozen, try to make the berry a staple in your regular diet.

Now with that said and all the research to support it we still may find ourselves berry-less. That’s where supplements come in. We already take supplements daily to ensure that the compound effects of stress and poor diet don’t lead us down the road of ill health, using our multivitamin and minerals as an insurance policy- we know the nutrition is there if we need it. Now it is possible to get your berries in supplement form as well, or to be more precise the berry pigment and associated compounds. No sugar or fiber is left but the potent antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents are still present.

These supplements are best taken in powder form as the amount of capsules you would have to take to equal a handful of berries would be at least one for one, you might as well eat the berries.

This is why ALL ONE, the experts on powdered supplements and Organic by Nature, the experts on powdered whole food concentrates, chose to collaborate and produce the first multivitamin and mineral supplement powder which also contains 2 full grams of fruit in each serving.
The ALL ONE Fruit Antioxidant formula contains: – Tart Cherries, Wild Blueberries, Cranberries and Apples,
giving you a full 2 grams of powerful antioxidant protection in every serving. It has been combined with the ALL ONE multivitamin and mineral formula in a rice protein base.

So with little fuss and minimal cost (berries can be expensive) you can be sure to put to work the awesome research that continues to filter through as the scientists continue to discover the potent health benefits of berries.

Strengthening Your Immune System May Help Reduce Allergy Symptoms This Spring

Spring is here. The weather is becoming warmer and plants are reviving. For more than 50 million Americans this means that their seasonal allergies are in full swing. Allergies arise from an abnormal immune system response to substances in the environment. It is not the foreign substance or organism itself that causes your allergy symptoms; it is your body’s reaction and the chemicals it releases. With this in mind, we should take steps to strengthen the immune system this Spring.

Eating a variety of colorful vegetables is just one easy (and delicious!) way to naturally strengthen your immune system. See: 12 Strategies to Strengthen Your Immune System

Standard medical treatment calls for decongestants, which can cause insomnia and raise blood pressure, and antihistamines that may cause drowsiness. This season choose to treat the source of the problem rather than trying to suppress symptoms with pharmaceuticals. When your immune system is at its optimum you will typically have less severe allergy symptoms. While conventional methods may still be necessary, seasonal allergies are best tamed by treating the source of the problem. Go directly to the source by incorporating a high quality multivitamin formula into your daily routine.

Many allergy sufferers find that by strengthening the immune system with vitamins and minerals they are less vulnerable to allergies. One should note that taking a multivitamin and mineral formula is obviously not the only factor in boosting your immune system. A good diet, moderate daily exercise, finding an effective way to deal with stress, and adequate rest are essential to a healthy immune system.

How to strengthen the immune system

Remember that an important factor to allergies is malnutrition. If your diet is lacking basic and vital nutrients you may be more susceptible to allergies.

When the missing nutrients are supplied, and your immune system is performing at its peak, the allergies often disappear. Take a good multivitamin and mineral supplement like ALL ONE, get plenty of rest, eat well, exercise, reduce stress, do your Spring cleaning and rest assured that you are taking the right steps to a happier healthier you.

The Green food revolution has come and never left; the Green Foods are here to stay. The evidence is clear. These foods are so nutrient dense, rich in chlorophyll, enzymes and trace minerals that they have a beneficial effect on the body, balancing pH, relieving cell toxicity, assisting blood sugar stability and aiding in the digestion/absorption of nutrients.

When the benefits of super green foods started getting mainstream recognition many people made the choice to replace their daily vitamin and mineral supplement regime with their new green ‘magic.’ The body responded to the nutrient dense greens in ways that standard vitamin and mineral supplements could not compete. But time is the best test, especially when it involves the human body.

So what have we found? Optimum nutrition cannot be reached with greens alone. Additional vitamins, minerals, amino acids and numerous co-factors are necessary. The busy and stressful lifestyles of today make demands on our bodies like never before, this is compounded with the fact that the nutrient content of food is decreasing, so although we are largely over fed we are actually undernourished. Green food supplements can help make sure we are getting all the nourishment we need.

Getting the best of both worlds. So now we are back to taking our B Complex, C, Calcium, antioxidants, etcetera, as well as our greens, adding some essential fatty acids and pro-biotics in for good measure. How many pills and at what price? There has got to be a better way, and there is….

ALL ONE supplement powders have long been innovative products on the supplement shelves with the Original formula being the brainchild of James Ingoldsby and Adelle Davis. Always ahead of the game, ALL ONE Green Phyto Base is the only nutrient powder available that combines a high potency vitamin and mineral formula, naturally occurring amino acids, enzymes and essential co-factors WITH a potent organic blend of greens including: kamut, barley, wild oat grass, alfalfa, green cabbage, kale, parsley, mustard greens, sea dulce, sea vegetables, chlorella and spirulina. Pure, organic juices are extracted, dried and blended to produce an unsurpassed nutritional medium for ALL ONE. These superior nutrient rich plants, representing the very top of the Green Food list, are cultivated organically according to strict O.C.I.A. standards. They are rich in phyto-nutrients, chlorophyll, iron, enzymes, trace minerals, light weight proteins and catalytic enzymes, which work synergistically to permit immediate absorption of the high potency vitamins and minerals in ALL ONE.

Feeling The Green Food Difference

It is the ease of absorption that plays a key role in the beneficial energy boost reported by users of the ALL ONE Green Phyto Base. We are told that they felt good on the greens alone, but now they notice a marked difference. The ALL ONE Green Phyto Base is a healthy, one-step solution to optimum nutrition, health and balance.

The Holiday Season has ended and many of us have added some extra weight and are frustrated. We set New Year’s resolutions to take the weight off and exercise, but it has not come off. Even when we try to do the right thing (eat organic, take our vitamins, exercise more) we find that extra weight is still difficult to come off. It is time for a healthy weight loss meal replacement that really works.

Driven by marketing and motivated by desperation we will try just about anything to lose those pounds, but at what expense? Obesity has become a major health concern in America and needs to be addressed, ideally with healthy nutritious alternatives, exercise and education. But unfortunately this isn’t always the case. In addition to the “carb blocking,” “metabolism stimulating,” “fat absorbing,” “calorie limiting,” “natura” products offered, people are subjecting their bodies to toxic stimulants, bulking agents, liquid diets and meal replacement powders with minimal nutrition. And obesity continues to rise. So are these things even working?

A Healthy Meal Replacement Shake

Time for a healthy, sensible, easy solution. Not a quick fix, not a magic bullet, but a tool that can help you address your eating habits without compromising your health. ALL ONE Weight Loss was developed to be a healthy meal replacement powder with enough pure nutrition and valuable weight management ingredients to really be effective.

Used by the ancient Romans for endurance and energy, Activated Barley is the secret ingredient in our ALL ONE Weight Loss Formula. This same fuel available now lets you eat less, without losing energy or feeling hungry. Another key ingredient is Whey Protein, the most optimal protein for weight loss. Whey Protein is also high in leucine which helps preserve lean muscle tissue.

Mixed with your favorite juice, ALL ONE Weight Loss powder is ready to drink as a meal replacement shake or as a healthy snack. It can be used long term with no uncomfortable side effects. Ultimately it is actually good for you, even if you do not want to lose weight you can benefit from the ingredients.

The Problem With Over Eating

Most people identify over eating or binge eating as their biggest obstacle to taking weight off and keeping it off. This is where ALL ONE Weight Loss comes in. When used as a high protein meal replacement, ALL ONE helps you keep daily caloric intake under control without sacrificing important nutrients, which helps keep your energy levels, mental function and moods high.

Feeling better, you are able to control your intake and make better choices. Use ALL ONE Weight Loss as a snack to deter pre-dinner snacking and over eating during dinner, again supplying quality nutrition for energy to exercise before dinner to boot.

When it comes to healthy, long lasting weight loss nothing will take the place of smart eating, good quality food and exercise. But using ALL ONE in addition to these measures can keep you healthy and help you achieve long lasting weight loss success. You can be confident that ALL ONE is not just another weight loss marketing fad, like the entire line of ALL ONE supplements, it is designed to make a difference from the inside out, delivering long lasting, great feeling results. Once you try it, we are confident you’ll agree: ALL ONE is the best weight loss diet meal replacement shake for 2012 and beyond.

An interview with nutrition expert Doug Ingoldsby

We’re heading into the “sugar shock season” and soon we’ll be twitching from all the sugar pumping through our veins from Halloween to Thanksgiving pies to Christmas treats.

“Sugar consumption soars in November and December,” says nutrition expert Doug Ingoldsby. “It’s during this hectic time of the year that sensible eating habits – and good sense – often fly out the window.” (See also 150 ways sugar can ruin your health.)

Ingoldsby says holiday goodies get America’s blood sugar rising through November until Thanksgiving takes over with its sweet pies, cakes and pastries. Our binge continues until the end of December, when we cram our mouths full of Christmas cookies and homemade fudge, then wash everything down with our favorite alcoholic beverages.

“Of course on January 1st we all resolve to stop eating sugar… but only a few of us are actually able to break free of that addiction,” says Ingoldsby.

Ingoldsby says not only does the increase in sugar consumption during the chilly holiday season lower our immune response (making us more susceptible to colds and flu), but research shows excess consumption, especially in children, paves the way to obesity, type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease, failing memory, early aging and many more health problems.

“We need to remember that refined sugar is an UNNATURAL SUBSTANCE, and it creates heavy stress on the body,” says Ingoldsby.

“Sugar is very similar chemically to alcohol, and both give us immediate highs and then severely crash our energy levels within hours,” says Ingoldsby.

The immediate symptoms of sugar shock are easy to spot. After an initial burst of euphoria, abusers can become moody, anxious, depressed, unsociable, brain-fogged, quarrelsome, confrontational, hyperactive, or rowdy.

“The symptoms of sugar shock can be similar to symptoms of over-consumption of alcohol,” says Ingoldsby. “It can make one appear virtually drunk.”

What’s the remedy for Sugar Shock?

“Refined sugar grabs B vitamins from the cells, and those vitamins must be replaced or one will tend to feel extremely stressed and tired,” says Ingoldsby.

“Too often people attempt to fix sugar-induced stress and lethargy by consuming more sugar, a practice that is very unhealthy and ultimately will lead to a real physical breakdown,” says Ingoldsby.

“The correct remedy for sugar shock is high does of B-complex vitamins along with C. When one has sufficient levels of B and C, he or she usually doesn’t crave sugar in the first place so the vicious cycle of escalating sugar consumption never gets started.”
